Amazon's Alexa is Spreading from Speakers to Screens
Hot on the heels of the CMA Digital Marketing Council's recent podcast on the Internet of Things and the future of voice-based interfaces, Amazon makes a significant partnership announcement that will change the nature of their Alexa product. In what is expected to the first of many screen-based applications to roll out, Alexa's new screen-focused tech will be rolled out across the product line for the screen-based intercom product Nucleus. This will be an extremely competitive space to watch given the degree to which voice has the potential to heavily disrupt Google's traditional search business.
