National Convention & Trade Show
CMA's National Convention & Trade Show is Canada's largest marketing convention. Every year, marketing professionals from across the country gain a competitive advantage by participating in an amazing three-day program filled with actionable learning, amazing networking opportunities and the latest technical resources that can help their businesses succeed. The National Convention & Trade Show is held each spring in a different city (Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa) and welcomes 1,500 - 2,300 attendees.
CMA Awards
The CMA Awards have been a symbol of marketing excellence for over 35 years. Celebrating results-based marketing, the CMA Awards is the biggest and most prestigious marketing awards event in Canada. Deadlines for entries are in June and July each year. Each November, 2,000 of Canada's top marketers, clients, and business partners come together at the CMA Awards Gala to honour the stars of the marketing industry. The CMA Awards Gala is Canada's largest marketing awards celebration and has been a sell out success for the last several years.
Conferences
CMA holds a variety of one-day conferences throughout the year, each of which is specifically targeted to the educational needs of our members. These conferences allow you to make an impact on a specific segment of the marketing industry. Whether your interest is Internet and digital marketing, database, business-to-business, privacy, not-for-profit, branding, or one of a host of other themes, one-day conferences are a great way to reach your audience. Attendance at the various conferences ranges from 100 to 300 delegates.
Seminars
CMA holds over 27 educational seminars throughout the year. Different from the one-day conferences, these seminars are typically full-day sessions taught by a single instructor in a classroom style format. Seminars are targeted to the learning needs of new, intermediate, and seasoned marketers, including senior level marketers whose scope of responsibilities have broadened to include marketing disciplines new to them. Attendance is limited to 30 attendees for most seminars.
Roundtable and Breakfast Sessions
An innovative way to show the world you are on the leading edge of what's happening, CMA's roundtables and breakfasts events are designed to keep marketers abreast of the latest trends, hottest issues, and best practices. Audience sizes range from 65 to 130 people. Topics include branding, integration and e-marketing. Attending CMA roundtables and breakfast sessions are a great way to showcase your organization's commitment to enhancing professionalism in marketing to a senior executive audience.
