Liz has worked in marketing and advertising for over 20 years, driving business results in the areas of financial services, telecommunications, retail, fast food, technology and not-for-profit. This work has spanned both consumer and business-to-business marketing across mass, direct and interactive channels at Bell Canada, American Express and ad agencies Cossette and Rapp Collins/DDB Canada.
In a search for greater “emotional return on her investment”, Liz intentionally sought out a career in the not-for-profit sector, leading her to United Way Toronto in 2008. As Director of Marketing, she manages brand advertising, media, events, creative services and two affinity groups, youth and GenNext (young professionals in their 20’s and 30’s).
Liz also sits on the Board of Directors of the Northern Lights Award Foundation, a not-for-profit organization focused on recognizing outstanding Canadian women in aviation and aerospace.
