Conference Highlights
This conference will present a framework that includes general questions that will help assess your organization's social media preparedness and provide a way to help organizations understand and participate in social media and sources of value across a variety of business functions.
To highlight this blueprint, the CMA Social Marketing Conference will feature a series of case studies and panel discussions on three major social media topics: building a social media community; leveraging that community to develop business goals; and empowering your employees through social media.
In addition, three special initiatives will be made available to conference delegates:
Social Media Framework: The Social Media Framework will be the starting point for discussions at the conference and beyond. The document includes general questions that will help assess your organization's preparedness with respect to social media and provides a chart that can help you understand ways to participate and sources of value across different business functions.
CMA Leadership Series Paper:Measureable Marketing: A Timeless Framework Authored by members of CMA's Marketing Technology and Database Intelligence Council, the paper simplifies what to measure along a four-stage path to brand adoption and sales, while focusing on how to attribute the benefits of social media activity. Case studies illustrate the framework and a data measurement primer explains the levels of granularity that ROI can be analyzed.
Social Media Readiness Survey: 10 attending companies will be eligible to win a free social media readiness survey for employees developed by Delvinia Interactive. The survey helps organizations develop social media strategies by providing an understand of the usage, attitudes and awareness of social media within their organizations. An overall score for the organization is provided which to ensures that a social media strategy developed within the organization is relevant to each department and helps to identify key employees to help lead the strategy. The report also includes a presentation on the survey results by Delvinia to senior management of your organization. Delvinia also produces a more detailed survey that includes a customer survey component.
Networking Event
The conference concludes with an informal networking reception, a great opportunity to connect and network with your peers in the marketing community.
