Overview

The number of foreign-born consumers in Canada is now 1 in 5 – which is the equivalent to the size of the population in the province of Quebec. You have a Quebec strategy and marketing plan – what is your multicultural strategy? Those numbers belie the true size of the opportunity as they don’t include second and third generation ethnic consumers who are culturally tied to their heritage. Nor do they include the 300,000+ new immigrants who are coming to Canada every single year. Add to that 400,000+ international students and you have 700,000 potential new customers entering the country every year that don’t know your brand.
