United Way Greater Toronto
Liz has worked in marketing and advertising for over 25 years, driving business results in the areas of financial services, telecommunications, retail, fast food, technology and not-for-profit. This work has spanned both consumer and business-to-business marketing across mass, direct and digital channels at Bell Canada, American Express and ad agencies Cossette and DDB Canada.
In a search for greater “emotional return on her investment”, Liz intentionally sought out a career in the not-for-profit sector, leading her to United Way Greater Toronto in 2008 to work in Marketing where she managed brand advertising, direct response, media, events and creative services. In 2016, she transitioned into the role of Executive Lead in the President’s Office to drive strategic cross-organizational work, transformation and business planning.
Liz has been a member of the CMA Not-for-Profit council since 2012 and in the role of council Chair since 2016. She is also an instructor in the Advertising program at Centennial College.
