Yaz Maziar joined Prostate Cancer Canada (PCC) in 2013. As the thought and practice leader in marketing and communications, Yaz brings both proven and new strategies to promote PCC’s mission. Under Yaz’s leadership, the organization’s in-house team develops and executes integrated marketing and communications programs that staff partners can implement to raise funds, increase education and awareness around prostate cancer, and enhance the PCC mission as an urgent and important “brand cause”.
Prior to his current role, Yaz spent six years leading the digital marketing team at the Heart and Stroke Foundation, where he created innovative marketing programs and digital strategies to maximize fundraising and mission impact. Yaz has an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto. He currently serves as Chair of the Marketing Program Advisory Committee at Seneca College and is also a member of the Not-for-Profit Council at the Canadian Marketing Association.
