The Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) is currently accepting nominations for the prestigious Marketer of the Year Award.
This award is presented to the Canadian individual who has displayed outstanding marketing acumen and leadership on a national scope within the past year or a body of work over many years. One award recipient is selected each year with judging by a panel of senior marketing executives from across the marketing spectrum of top clients, agencies and consultancies.
“It’s important to recognize the inspiration these leaders provide to the Canadian marketing profession,” said Doug Brooks, President & CEO of the Canadian Marketing Association. “We look forward to celebrating the legacy of innovation and leadership as the profession honours the Marketer of the Year at Canada’s #1 Marketing Awards Gala.”
Past recipients include Duncan Fulton, then Senior Vice-President and Executive Officer of Canadian Tire Corporation, and Dominic Mercuri, now retired Executive Vice-President and Chief Marketing Officer of TD Bank Group.
The Marketer of the Year Award will be announced at this year’s CMA Awards Gala on November 18. Selected by BizBash for the third year in a row as the #1 Marketing & Advertising Awards in Canada and the #1 Marketing & Advertising Event in Toronto, the CMA Awards celebrate the best in Canadian marketing.
Nominations for the Marketer of the Year Award will be accepted until August 19. For more details on the nomination process, please visit www.CMAawards.ca.
