With the launch of Marketers Respond – the newest feature on our Marketing Connected platform – we are showcasing initiatives that marketers are leading through their organizations to help make a difference to the broader marketing community and for other communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our goal is to demonstrate the important role that marketers play in supporting our communities, and to inspire those who are in a position of strength to support those in need.
We would also like to draw attention to our many CMA members in the not-for-profit sector who rely on donations and fundraising efforts to support vulnerable individuals and groups. Many of these organizations have had to cancel major fundraising campaigns, and many find it difficult in today’s environment to ask for donations.
An outpouring of interest
I am delighted and thankful that so many stories have been sent to us for posting in Marketers Respond since I shared this new initiative with CMA members just a few days ago. We can all take pride in being part of a community that is giving back in so many substantial and innovative ways.
