Council participation is for CMA members only. Persons wishing to join a Council must have a minimum of 5-8 years marketing management experience.
Council members attend and participate in approximately nine meetings per year. Each member is responsible for fulfilling an objective set out by the Council, as established through its annual planning process.
The CMA is looking for engaging individuals to facilitate seminars. We are looking for innovative topics that provide actionable insights for participants.
CMA seminars are developed by marketers for marketers and are offered throughout the year in a variety of formats. Seminars focus on best practices, current trends, and latest insights in marketing.
Please send your completed seminar proposals to seminars@theCMA.ca. Proposals will be reviewed on an ongoing basis and only those selected will be contacted.
Thank you for your interest in joining the CMA Board of Directors. The CMA Board Nominating Committee meets in the early autumn to consider applicants for the Board transition which happens at the AGM (typically in the spring). The Director, Corporate Services, manages this process for the Nominating Committee and requests your formal, written expression of interest by the middle of August for consideration.
